Code correct Rally Red exterior, code correct Black interior (upgraded to leather
seating surfaces), White convertible top. NOM 375hp 355ci Blue Print engine, 4
speed manual transmission. Features include side exhaust, genuine leather
seats, digital AM/FM radio with aux input, power antenna. Originally assembled
on July 2, 1965, this 1965 Corvette Convertible is in good condition, and comes
with the desirable 4 speed manual transmission. This car's paint shows a good
shine. Chrome bumpers show a newer finish, with vg fronts, and good-vg rears.
Taillights are vg, as is the weather stripping. Correct style hubcaps are in place,
and radial blackwall tires show an average of 11/32nds (90 percent) tread depth
remaining. The interior of this 1965 Corvette Convertible shows good condition
leather seats and door panels, and vg center console, dash pods, and correct
seatbelts. Gauges are good-vg, and a digital AM/FM radio with auxiliary input
has been added, along with a rear speaker box featuring JL speakers, Red Lloyd
floor mats, and a center console-mounted cupholder. Indoor cover is included
as well. NOM 375hp 355ci Blue Print engine was recently installed, and L79/L76
style air cleaner, intake manifold, and valve covers are all in place, along with
correct radiator hoses and hose clamps. Frame is solid and rust-free. A lot of
mechanical work has been done such as front suspension, half shafts, u-joints,
trailing arms, shocks, and much more. Someone has put tens of thousands of
dollars in paint, chrome, and overall restoration. One only needs to drive this
beautiful '65 to understand how they came from the factory. Plenty of power
and handling as it should be. Please note that this car has a state assigned VIN
tag from California, which shows the VIN as 194675S121487CA.
